Figure taxes/insurance
Use the 'payment calculator' found on this site to determine your principal and interest payment. TO ESTIMATE PROPERTY TAXES: Take the sale price of the home and divide it by three (3). Multiply this by .025. This will get you the yearly amount. Divide this by twelve (12) to arrive at the monthly amount. Add this to the principal and interest amount. . . TO ESTIMATE PROPERTY INSURANCE: Take the sale price of the home, multiplied by .6%. This will get you the yearly property insurance amount. Divide this by twelve (12) to get a monthly amount. Add this to the principal and interest amount. (this is only to get an estimated amount. items such as credit score and your current standing with your insurance company are factors in determining the actual amount. please contact your insurance agent) SO ADD THESE AMOUNTS: PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST AMOUNT + MONTHLY PROPERTY TAX AMOUNT + MONTHLY PROPERTY INSURANCE AMOUNT = YOUR APPROXIMATE MONTHLY PAYMENT (ask your mortgage lender if you have to pay PMI 'private mortage insurance'. you may have to pay an additional monthly amount for this)
